Who reviews this?
Every protocol is drafted from peer-reviewed emergency references (ASPCA, AAFP, Plumb's) and reviewed by Dr. Maya Patel, DVM, DACVECC (Emergency & Critical Care) and Rachel Morrison, LVT, CVT before publication. Medical reviewers are named, credentialed, and compensated independently. Last medical review: 2026-09-04.
How we write
We use conservative triage thresholds, cite sources in each protocol, and flag uncertainty clearly. No content is generated as a substitute for an exam. If a protocol might be outdated, we show a review-due banner and link to the source.
